Fleurie House

Set on a quiet road just a few minutes stroll from the seafront and historic Torre Abbey this guest house isn't simply clean it is pristine and gleaming. From the comfiest bed in the world to the fluffiest towels it really is a relaxing place to stay if you are in Torquay. The hosts John and Gill are superb and nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is top notch and you can tell only top quality ingtediants are used from your first mouthful

Fantastic place in a great location. Excellent breakfast using good quality ingredients and well presented. Good selection available. Gill and John are super friendly hosts and very helpful. I absolutely recommend the Fleurie House when in Devon.

Had a very enjoyable stay here for 3 nights. John and Gill are great hosts and catered for all our needs without any issue, including vegan breakfast options for my partner. It was clean, comfortable and quiet overall. Slight criticisms from my perspective was the power shower was a bit weak and the WiFi was ropey, so if you need a decent connection (like I did as work never quite leaves me alone!) you may struggle to get one. Decor is a little quirky but I don't mind that but anyone looking for something contemporary/modern won't find that here. Overall would recommend as it was comparatively cheap to similar accommodation and would stay here again
